How to Pay for eBay Shipping Labels with a Credit Card: A Reseller's Guide
Select the option "Your saved PayPal Account" on a shipping label page. To see this option, open a single label page (not bulk view).
Next, go to your PayPal account. We recommend setting up a separate PayPal account just for shipping labels to ensure it charges your Credit Card and does not take out of our balance.
On Paypal, find the Autopay settings for eBay Inc Shipping.
On a Business Paypal account, hover over your profile in the top right and select "Account Settings".
Next, go to "Payment Preferences" and scroll down to the "Automatic Payments" section. At the bottom of this section, select "Manage Automatic Payments".
Find "eBay Inc shipping" option and select it. On this page, select your Credit Card as the payment method. Ensure your Credit Card is added to your PayPal account to see this option.
Why Use a Credit Card?
A Credit Card can be a great choice if you pay off your full balance every month. Credit Cards can earn points that are used for travel or cash back.
We use the Chase Ink Business Preferred Credit Card to earn 3x points on Shipping purchases. This card has a $95 annual fee, but includes a 100,000 bonus points ($1,000 cash back or $1,250 in travel rewards through Chase Travel) new cardholder bonus when you spend $8,000 on purchases in the first 3 months. If you run a large reselling business, this can be a great way to earn cash back or travel funds with the purchases your business is already making.
Our favorite Business Credit Card with no annual fee is the Chase Ink Business Unlimited Credit Card with 1.5% cash back on all purchases and a $750 bonus cash back after spending $6,000 in the first 3 months.
Using Pirate Ship
Another way to pay for shipping labels with Credit Cards is using Pirate Ship. Find deep discounts including USPS cubic rate and UPS discounts on Pirate Ship. Resellers love Pirate Ship as it provides great discounts with no subscription or other additional fees.
Paying for eBay UPS & Fedex Labels with a Credit Card
eBay currently does not offer a way to pay for UPS and Fedex labels with a Credit Card. eBay will bill you for these labels and use your pending payouts.
