About the Pyrex Butterfly Gold Casserole

Butterfly Gold (1972–1978, redesigned 1979–1981) has butterflies and five-petaled flowers, most often yellow-brown on white. Casseroles came in Cinderella round, oval and Bake Serve Store shapes, and an original lid and unfaded pattern add value.

What affects the price

  • An original matching lid adds real value.
  • Colour strength and gloss: dishwasher damage and oven discolouration lower the price.
  • Chips on the rim and handles, and utensil marks inside.
