About the Pyrex Gooseberry Cinderella Bowl Set

Gooseberry (1957–1966) shows gooseberry leaves, flowers and berries, most often pink on white or the reverse, and also black on yellow or white. The Cinderella set is the 441 (1.5 pt), 442 (1.5 qt), 443 (2.5 qt) and 444 (4 qt); complete four-bowl sets in one colorway are worth more than partial sets.

What affects the price

  • Colour strength and gloss. Dishwasher detergent dulls and fades the paint, which is the biggest price factor.
  • Chips, cracks and utensil marks (grey scratches) inside the bowl.
  • Rare colourways and complete, matching sets sell for more than single bowls.
  • Reproductions and newer pieces exist; check the backstamp.
