About the Apple iPod Nano 7th Generation
The seventh and final iPod Nano launched in October 2012 with a 2.5-inch multi-touch screen, Bluetooth, FM radio and a Lightning port, in 16GB only. A 2015 color refresh is sometimes listed as the “8th generation”; Apple discontinued the Nano in July 2017. Check the battery, the screen and dents in the thin aluminum body.
What affects the price
- Battery life, and for hard-drive models a drive that spins up without clicking.
- Scratches on the screen and polished back, dents and a click wheel that responds everywhere.
- Original, unmodified units: flash-storage upgrades are priced separately and left out of this guide.
- Capacity and generation. Check the model number (A-number) on the back.
