About the Nintendo 64
The Nintendo 64 (NUS-001) launched in North America in September 1996. It needs a Jumper Pak or Expansion Pak in the memory slot on top to run, so check that one is installed. Controller analog sticks loosen with wear.
What affects the price
- Whether it’s tested with a game: disc drives that don’t read or cartridge slots that need re-seating lower the price.
- What’s included: power supply, video cable and one original controller are expected.
- Yellowing, cracks and missing screws or labels.
- Mods (region-free, custom firmware, HDMI) change the buyer pool, so they’re left out of this guide.
