Print Vinted labels on a 4×6 thermal printer

Vinted only gives you an A4 PDF, and there’s no setting to change it. Our free Chrome extension crops it to a perfect 4×6 (100×150 mm) label the moment you download it.

  • Free, no account
  • Works with Rollo, Munbyn, Zebra & more
  • Label never leaves your computer

Can you change the label size in Vinted? No.

If you’ve gone looking through Vinted’s settings for a “label size” or “thermal printer” option, you didn’t miss it. It doesn’t exist. Vinted hands you the carrier’s label as a PDF laid out for an A4 sheet (letter in some regions), and that’s the only format you get, on the app and on the website.

  • No label size setting in your Vinted profile or shipping settings
  • No “4×6” or “thermal” download option on the order
  • Printer “fit to page” just shrinks the whole A4 sheet, label included
  • What works: crop the PDF to just the label, then print it at 4×6

The free fix: FlipperTools for Chrome

One small extension that does the cropping for you. It finds the label on the page, trims off the instructions and white space, turns it upright, and gives you a print-ready 4×6.

  1. 1

    Add it to Chrome

Install FlipperTools and switch on “Vinted 4×6 Labels”. That’s the only setting.

  2. 2

    Download your label

Click “Print label” on your Vinted sale as normal. The extension spots the PDF and crops it.

  3. 3

    Print at 4×6

Hit Print. One sharp label per page, barcode at full size, ready for your thermal printer.

Your label is processed inside your browser. Your buyer’s address is never uploaded. Labels are cropped as vectors, so barcodes stay crisp and scan first time.

Thermal printer settings for Vinted labels

Once the label is cropped to 4×6, use these settings in the print dialog. They’re the same for Rollo, Munbyn, Zebra, Jadens, HPRT and other 4×6 thermal printers.

Paper / label size4×6 in (or 100×150 mm)
OrientationPortrait
Scale100% / “Actual size”, not “Fit to page”
MarginsNone
PagesAll (one label per page)

Still printing onto two labels? Set the scale to 95%. A hair of white border keeps everything on one label.

No extension? How to crop a Vinted label by hand

It works, it just takes a minute per label:

On a Mac (Preview)

  1. Open the Vinted PDF in Preview.
  2. Drag a box around just the label.
  3. Tools → Crop (⌘K).
  4. If it’s landscape, Tools → Rotate Left.
  5. Print with the settings above.

On Windows

  1. Open the PDF and zoom so the label fills the screen.
  2. Snipping Tool (Win + Shift + S) around the label.
  3. Paste into Photos or Paint, rotate if needed.
  4. Print on 4×6 with “Fit picture to frame”.
  5. Check the barcode isn’t blurry before you stick it on.

The screenshot route works, but it’s lower resolution than the original PDF, so barcodes can scan badly. The extension crops the PDF itself, so nothing gets blurry.

Vinted label FAQ

Can I change the shipping label size in Vinted’s settings?+

No. Vinted has no label size or printer setting in the app or on the website. The label is generated by the carrier (Royal Mail, Evri, InPost, DPD and others) as a PDF sized for an A4 or letter sheet, and that PDF is the only format Vinted offers. To print it on a 4×6 thermal printer you have to crop and resize the PDF yourself, or use a tool that does it for you.

Why does my Vinted label print tiny, cut off, or across two labels?+

Your thermal printer is trying to fit a whole A4 page onto a 4×6 label. With “fit to page” the real label shrinks into a corner; at 100% scale only part of it fits and the rest spills onto a second label. Cropping the PDF down to just the label first fixes both problems.

Does the FlipperTools label resizer work with Rollo, Munbyn, Zebra, Jadens and HPRT printers?+

Yes. It produces a standard 4×6 inch (or 100×150 mm) PDF, which any thermal label printer that takes 4×6 labels can print. Pick 4×6 as the paper size, 100% scale and no margins in the print dialog.

Is it free? Do I need an account?+

The Vinted 4×6 label resizer is free and needs no account or sign-up.

Is my label uploaded anywhere?+

No. The label is cropped inside your own browser. Your buyer’s name and address never leave your computer.

4×6 inch or 100×150 mm, which should I choose?+

They are nearly the same size. Most UK and EU thermal labels are 100×150 mm; US labels are 4×6 inch. Choose whichever matches the roll in your printer. The resizer supports both.

Does it work on the Vinted phone app?+

The resizer is a Chrome extension, so it runs on a computer (Windows, Mac or Chromebook) using Vinted in the Chrome browser. If you sell from your phone, open the sale on vinted.co.uk (or your country’s Vinted site) on your computer to download the label there.
