How Mercari fees work in 2026
Mercari takes a single 10% selling fee when your item sells. Unlike Poshmark, it’s charged on shipping the buyer pays as well as the item price. There’s no listing fee and, since January 2025, no payment processing fee.
- Selling fee: 10% of item price + buyer-paid shipping.
- Payment processing: none for sellers since January 6, 2025.
- Cashing out: free by direct deposit, $3 with Instant Pay.
- Cancellations: 5% of the item price (max $25) if you cancel a sale.
Worked example
You sell a video game on Mercari for $30. The buyer pays $6.99 for the prepaid label, and you bought the game for $4.
