About the Canon T70
Introduced in 1984, the T70 is an FD-mount SLR with an LCD control panel, program, shutter-priority and manual modes, and a built-in motorized film advance. It runs on two AA batteries, with a small lithium cell keeping its settings.
What affects the price
- Whether the shutter fires at every speed. Slow speeds that drag or a shutter that sticks cut the value sharply.
- Light seals and the mirror bumper: sticky or crumbling foam causes light leaks. Cheap to fix, but buyers price it in.
